As the organiser of the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) celebrates the participants of MIHAS 2018 during the MIHAS Awards 2018 ceremony, recognising the achievements of local and foreign exhibitors for their innovation and creativity in booth designs and product innovation.
According to Dr Mohd Shahreen Zainooreen Madros, Chief Executive Officer of MATRADE, it is critical to acknowledge companies who innovate as it will be ideas and creativity that will be a key catalyst ensuring Malaysian companies remain relevant in the halal economy.
We must embrace new technologies and innovation in order to be globally successful. Apart from keeping the focus on existing businesses, we also need to strive for excellence and innovate to stay ahead and be different,” he opines.
