In conjunction with its recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy J7+, Samsung brought some lucky medias on a food tour around APW, Bangsar to showcase the best offerings from various restaurants and cafés, as well as the capabilities of the new device.
Starting with breakfast at Merchants and Sisters we were introduced to the phones, as well as our team mates. Assigned to a photography challenge, we were tasked to take pictures according to the brief given. Designed to showcase the best of the phones, we had a mini tour visiting Torii, Ekkamai and Yellow Brick Road. Following the brief, we posted on Instagram and hoped for the best.
While we didn’t win the challenge, here are shots from our group. I’d like to think we did pretty well. Idea contributions from Rojak Daily, 2Cents, The Level and Tantan News.

The Samsung J7+ features two rear cameras, a 13-megapixel main shooter at F1.7, and a 5MP secondary shooter at F1.9. This allows the device to create bokeh effect photos, even after the shot. Playing with focus, depth of field and sharp clarity, the phone brings out the best side of your food, making it look as good as it taste. The front shooter brings a 16-megapixel lens at F1.6, making it easy and fun to capture clear photos, with an added fun aspect with the AR Stickers.
As a promotion, Samsung is bringing rebates for their customers. For a limited time, Samsung and its partners are holding a trade in campaign -trade in any old phone for RM200 off. Requirement? Any old phone as long as it can turn on.
