Epson has kicked off the inaugural Epson Youth Cup Under-19 Football Challenges, to support the local youth football scene with six football clubs from Klang Valley competing to win the very first title.
Co-organised with Tunas Lagenda Football Club (TLFC), the two-day youth football challenge is an on-going initiative of the company’s regional CSR direction to support youth development in markets it is present in.
“Football not only brings our nation together as the country’s favourite pastime, it also builds perseverance, creative thinking and promotes discipline and teamwork in young people. We believe these skills are essential in all other aspects of life and the main reason why Epson invests in nurturing our young football talents whenever we can,” comments Daisuke Hori, Managing Director of Epson Malaysia.
The six teams competing for the championship title are MIFA-SASYA, UiTM FC U-19, Dream-MBSA, PNSB FC, KL Cityboy FC and Tunas Lagenda FC.
After battling it out with other teams, the champion will receive a trophy, cash prizes and medals for the players, along with an Epson printer.
